How often do you cycle? Does any of your parents' use cycle for travelling? But can you wonder a city where there is mostly cycles all around and a very few motor vehicle!?

There is a place named Amsterdam in Netherlands, where alomst everyone uses cycle for travelling one place to another. Moreover, it is also called the Cycling Capital of The World.

Cycle is one of the greatest inventions of all time for transportation. It is eco-friendly as well as affordable for all class of people. 

Cycle can travel anywhere including mountains and can be even replaced with the vehicles. Personally, I think that, Cycle can be used anywhere in any kind of surface by anyone (kids, women, men).

Cargo Bicycle

It is the bike having usually cargo or box for carrying things, generally detachable. It resembles the two wheelers under-seat storage. It can be used for carrying electronic items, cake, heavy bag or other goods.

Family bicycles

These bicycles are commonly driven by one or two people. And there are special seats or small compartments for children to seat. These cycles are found in many other countries than Amsterdam.

Folding Bicycles

As the name suggests, this bike can be folded and becomes more easy to carry and takes less space (can be carried in vehicles conveniently). However, it is not usually preferred by professional bikers.

Electric Bicycles

Electric bike, as the name suggests, the bicycle involves electricity. These bikes are part electric i.e. having a electric motor and a battery. 

These bicycles are heavier in weight but it becomes very easy to go through a hill or slope. As this bicycle gives you a push every time you start pedaling or at regular intervals.

Mountain Bicycle 

These cycles are used to go on mountains. It has a high quality suspension and tyres and a frame geometry specially designed to travel on uneven surface/terrains. Sometimes, small stunts are also done by this bicycle 🚲.

Womens' Bicycle

These cycles are designed specifically for women. It is not only the color that makes these cycles different but also it comes in smaller frame sizes and narrow handle bar.

 As women, on average, smaller than men, so to fit that difference in proportion this bike is designed. Usually, these bicycles have a step-through frame which give advantage to the riders wearing skirts, sari, or other long dress. However, it depends completely on the rider to use any cycle.

So, we saw that there are many types of bicycles. These bicycles are used in many countries like Dutch, Belgium, Switzerland, etc. other than Netherlands.
